Dean walked away from the 2005/6 season as the Dons supporters' player of the year as well as winning three gongs at the sponsors' player of the year awards - including player of the year and goal of the season for his stunning late strike against Bradford in February. He is a hard-working left back, who was born in Kingston, Surrey in May 1984 and another who has graduated from the DonsAcademy. His father, Ray, is currently reserve team coach for Premiership club Fulham having been a player Chelsea, Fulham, Brighton and Sheffield United as well as being manager of Fulham, Brentford and most recently Watford. Following his excellent form in 2005/6, Dean was linked with a move away from Milton Keynes during the summer of 2006 but confirmed his commitment to the Dons by putting pen to paper on a one-year in mid-July. |
