One of the Central Coast Mariners’ new acquisitions in 2006/07, wingback Tomasevic will be looking to re-establish his reputation in Australia’s top tier football competition with his second full-time club. An athletic and robust flanker who, on average, nets a goal every other game, Tomasevic is best known for striking one of the all time great National Soccer League goals with the Northern Spirit during their 2002/03 campaign. After two campaigns with the Spirit in the NSL that returned 51 appearances and 9 goals, Tomasevic helped Bonnyrigg White Eagles to second place in 2004/05 and then assisted Marconi Stallions to third place the following season. Having played under or alongside all of the Mariners coaching staff and as many as seven current Mariners teammates whilst at the Spirit, Tomasevic is sure to have no trouble settling in to his new Central Coast surrounds.
